Well I am finally home!
The only thing creepier looking than my forearm/wrist/hand with all of the sutures and pins sticking out of it was the x-ray that shows the plating and 8 screws that now holds it all together.
The sutures are out and everything is under a cast for a few more weeks anyways.
On a positive note riding in East TX was a fun challenge. The 2 nearby Farm-Market Roads created a 24 and 22 mile loop respectively and they both were quite hilly, esp. by my standards. Despite all of the crap related to surgery I actually think my riding got a bit stronger.
I'll find out how that hill work translates to flat riding tomorrow.
