OP: I'm faster on the new bike, therefore new bike faster than old bike.
Others: Yes you are faster, but that doesn't imply your BIKE is faster.
OP: Why won't anyone believe me! I AM faster on the new bike.
Others: ..., nobody is denying that, but it is possibly due to position/placebo effect, why don't you experiment with the old bike?
