Forgot to include Al Toefield from Flushing NY. Al was the owner of Kissena Cycles and the sponsor of the Kissena Cycling team. He was a very influential contributor to the Kissena bike track and to bike racing in NY. Disclaimer: I never raced but he gave me a club jersey that I still have.

One of the nicest guys that I have ever met. Sharp and funny. His shop was great. Sort of like an overcrowded mom and pop hardware store. Bike parts hanging everywhere. Small counter, sort of not very well lit. Zeus stuff, etc.

Al was one of cycling's greatness.
