I looked at the Downtown as well, but ultimately decided it was too big for my purposes. Carrying a laptop, a shirt, my New York Fahgettaboudit chain and basic stuff for the office in the Office Bag, it's still nowhere near full.

The somewhat rigid design proved its usefulness yesterday: Using my messenger bag, any bread I attempted to transport would end up at least slightly smushed, but I can carry a loaf in the Office Bag without compromising the bread's structural integrity.
