To do that I'll have to roll by 7AM, you want to be done with that climb by 10AM. Toughest climb I've ever done.

This island is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. This is my third trip riding the bike here since 2006. They have totally upgraded a bunch of the roads I cycle on here in that time. The new road to Pili was amazing today, when I was here in 2008 it was dirt, they were still building it. Today it is 7 miles of smoother than baby's butt widened ashphalt with big shoulders and straight sight lines (the old road was far more windy, narrow, bumpy, this new one is a 60 mph mini highway in a sparsely travelled rural area). All this in a nation that's going belly up. Go figure. Hey, infrastructure investment is really never a bad thing.
Greece has an amazing amount of shoreline. Can you show me on a map where you are?
