I never made it to Brasstown. We started off on our way there from Murphy, NC. We were part of the way and I think I bonked or something, don't remember. I ended up turning around and heading back solo while the rest of the team went on.

I didn't envy them, it was 15 degrees out.

There's a climb near the BRP, Orchard Gap I think it's called, that's just ridiculously steep. Took me 35 minutes the first time.
