I have 2 Colnagos. One is a 1984 Super with Super Record and sewups. The second is a C50 with Record and clinchers. I like the old Super, but if I plan on going out with a fast group, I'll take the C50 every time. Everything about the modern bike works better. If you can't afford both bikes, I'd go modern.
