George, did you get the compression fit or just the loose fit C9 gear? I wear the loose fit around the house (hot here too in the Tampa area) but haven't tried the compression fit C9 yet for a base layer. My latest find was using a Headsweats head cover. Keeps the sweat out of my eyes and also works great to cool you off if you dump some cold water on it occasionally.
