It's Maine.. there isn't much in those parts. Once you get away from the coast it can get pretty slim on places you might want to walk into.

@Undisputed, have you done a century on the coast? The Maine/NH seacoast is the reason I took up cycling. If you get a chance, set up a route down through Portsmouth, NH and maybe even quickly into Salisbury, MA. You can call it a tri-state century. I'll be doing one in September but I believe it loops back somewhere near Kennebunk/Saco, so you may want to start there for the full 100 miles. The views along the coast are breathtaking at times... plus in this heat, its a good 10 degrees cooler.
