Bikes: 2009 Spooky (cracked frame), 2006 Curtlo, 2002 Lemond (current race bike) Zurich, 1987 Serotta Colorado, 1986 Cannondale for commuting, a 1984 Cannondale on loan to my son

Day Three of leg pain so no serious riding today, but some serious cooking instead.

Made a triple batch of my signature tapenade at my wife's request because we ran out yesterday. It tastes so good that it should have something in it that is deadly, but it doesn't.

I also rode my bike to the supermarket and bought all the things that I needed to make my favorite potato salad. The chives were harvested from the garden, so those were the freshest ingredients. I do love the taste of lemons and potatoes together. There is the zest and juice of one lemon to the 3 pounds of potatoes in this recipe. I did use mayo from a jar (Hellmans).

Also in that supermarket trip was the fixing for a "beer can" chicken. We have a number of Coke Zero cans available around the house, so I didn't have to buy beer in a can. I bought something better.
