Minivelo Project (I guess it's kinda classic?)

I posted this in the folding forum as well (even though it can't really fold)...I guess this is kind of a multi-disciplinary bike and I really hope to share it with you guys, so I'm posting it here.

I build the bike to bring with me to college. I was hoping to create something that will fit into a regulation size suitcase on my flights. The smaller size also allow me to store this in my dorm room. With compactness in mind, I also want a bike that handles and rides well. This was what I came up with with a very limited budget. (came together for around 200bucks)

The bike is built on a 80's Formula One BMX bike. Threw on a pair of 20" rims and high pressure tires, a Wrights W3N leather saddle, drop handlebar. Running 53-16 SS right now.
Top tube protector is made from a leather belt.
Saddle bag is a thrift store find for 6 bucks. Great find, very well made. Even the interior are made of leather.
I was hesitant to use the chrome bar tape, but I think it turned out really well. (The photos do not do the bar tape justice at all. I'll try to take better pics)

Also have a pair of fenders I might add for the rainy season. Considering chopping the saddle because it looks a little heavy on the little bike... Any other suggestions?

Hope you guys like it!
