I'm always surprised by questions like this...can I hang it by the front wheel, can I store it upside down, can I leave it outside in freezing weather, can I leave it in my car in summer? It's a piece of outdoor equipment, designed to be used hard.
A friend of mine installed a heater in his garage just so his bike wouldn't get cold in winter (he doesn't mind working out there, he just doesn't want the bike to be uncomfortable). Yet he'll wheel it out of the 65 degree garage into a 20-degree day and go for a long ride without worrying about it
