I doubt that my wearing a helmet eases any driver angst. Realize that where I live (Wisconsin), home of Harley Davidson, motor cycle riders are not required to wear helmets either. When I am driving my car the fact that someone either on a bike or motor cycle is or is not wearing a helmet does not change the way I drive one bit.
I will be in Toronto this weekend and I am bringing my bike so I will be able to judge for myself if there is a vast difference in the way people treat cyclists.
