First of all, you're not annoying the bike shop employees. We can get as excited as you get when we are trying to help customers and they appreciate it! It's always refreshing to see new passionate customers.
Now, regarding your list of bikes, all are good bikes in their each respects. You really can't go wrong with any of them.
As far as compact frames go, I'm not a big fan of them. To me, they just don't make sense! I guess I'm more of a traditional frame type person when it comes to my road bike! Plus, I personally like the ride of steel over aluminum.
The biggest thing to remember, regardless of price or what kind of deal you can get. If it doesn't fit you well, it's not worth it! Trust me on this, sure you can save a ton of money on a really nice bike, but if it's not comfortable, you'll be hating every mile after let's say about 25 or 30 will be a torture fest!
With that said, if I had my choice, I go with the Oval Master! (if it fit me!)
