My only experience with Hutchinson tires is also negative. I had a pair that had dissimilarly colored rubber running around the tires next to the center black portion. After less than 100 miles, the rubber had started to separate where the color changed. It kept getting worse and before they even had 150 miles on them, I decided they had to go. I didn't want them to disintegrate and kill me going down hill somewhere.

Never Hutchinsons again!
