Bikes: Soma Grand Randonneur, modified Xootr Swift, Trek 1000SL with broken brifter from running it into a hotel porte-cochère

I don't know my top speed on my Swift (which has 20" wheels), but it was certainly over 50kph. My feeling is that "the quick response of a small-wheeled bike" can turn into "the squirrely handling of a small-wheeled bike" more easily at higher speeds--but I'm with jefmcg and Jur. Go roll down a hill.
