No. I paid for that in the cost of those items at the same percentage road tax I pay to drive a personal vehicle. Shippers pay road use taxes too.
Don't forget property taxes. I find it amusing that a guy pulling out of an all-singlewide trailer park was honking at me the other day while I was cycling back to my 2,000 square foot house on a corner lot in a nice neighborhood. I suspect my property tax is as much as his rent.
