Well I haven't seen my Dr or PT since the MRI...still waiting for the follow up appointment to be scheduled, so they may in fact suggest surgery. Thanks for sharing your experience, honestly it is the first story of surgery where the patient is happy with the result that I have heard.

For the record I am 37...the back issue started during volleyball season over the winter and I went to the chiro for a couple of months which squared away the initial back pain. Within 2 weeks of the back pain going away my leg started having sciatica issues...that was around the beginning of March.
