The pictures were rushed. Anyway, yesterday I began working on my GIOS- my dream bike, I've been hunting for one since about the time I joined the forums.
So here it is! I don't have all the parts it needs yet, though, and I have a few questions:
The bottom bracket is acting strange. I've tightened it enough so that it's a little
too tight, but it is still loose at a few spots in the crank rotation. What's going on here? I'm thinking that it may just be easier to switch to a cartridge BB- does anyone know what length spindle the Record cranks need?
Does anyone have a 70mm Cinelli stem? The SR stem and World Champion bars aren't doing much for me.
Also, I made
the mistake.. The one I swore I'd never make:
I lost a barrel adjuster.
I don't know how I did it, I tried my hardest not to, but now I am a member of those so infamous who have lost the adjuster for their Campagnolo calipers. Does anyone know where I can get a new set? They don't
have to be Campagnolo branded. It'd be cool, but no big deal.
I know the saddle angle is whack. I don't have the wrench for it yet.
It's not done, but I'm trying now. (The tire choice is makeshift, too- gumwalls all the way on the final, which will be a tubular wheelset once I get the money to build it.)
Any other thoughts or suggestions?
Let's talk about it. And let's find me a 70mm Cinelli on the cheapies. I'm excited- I took it for a spin in its half-complete state, and oh my goodness- it's a dream.

Edit: PS- I'm going to get a Super Record decal set for it, too. But it's not going to be one of the ones with the white background for the letters- the letters will mount directly onto the silver. It's gonna be cool. Trust me.
