First race: Cat 5 (50 riders) at the New Belgium Mass Ave Crit in Indy yesterday. It was a triangle course with obviously two very sharp turns. I was doing great and went to the lead with 4 laps left. On the 3rd lap in the 1st turn, I bit it when the person on my inside and the person on my outside took two different angels into the turn... live and let learn right. There's youtube video of it already, but I'm not posting it... lol. Had a great time though and it didn't seem hard at all. Avg'd around 25 mph for 27 laps that I completed of the 30 lap race. I think my bike is ok, and I have no broken bones... that I know of... so on to the next race.
