You know ive noticed a trend, to spend thousands of dollars on a single bike and i just dont get it. My current bike i spent around 300 to build and it out performs and is better quality than a bike that i had bought about three years ago for 1900 that i sold about two months after purchase. I guess it depends on what your doing with it but really why spend 2 or 3k on something that your only gonna ride two or three times a month and only for leisure rides on established trails? Im not really singling out anyone on the forum mostly just what i see locally, is these people on multi thousand dollar racing machines puttin around on walking paths, i mean really you need hydraulic disc brake to stop your immense speed. Sorry about the rant
