Woke up. Checked radar on the iPhone. Uh oh. Lots of red and yellow and other assorted scary colors in a line over the Adirondacks and heading right for us! I expedited my departure. There was a strong headwind but I didn't get wet. Looks like it's going to rain any minute now.

Some person has kept a sailboat anchored in a place for 2 summers now. It's not an official anchorage area. There's no easy access to the boat except by MUP. This morning the boat was ashore, getting beaten by big waves. (See above: Strong headwind.) It didn't sound so good. I thought about calling the Coast Guard, but they're about a half mile south of the location so I'm sure they're aware of it.
