The way you describe your 2nd instance is exactly how it went down. At that particular light I take the center of the right lane because there is always at least 1 vehicle that turns right, behind me. When I heard his RPMs, I initially thought he was just taking the corner hard, until, to my disbelief, he passed me on the right. This morning, I looked behind me at the light and made eye contact with the driver, as I will do every morning at that light.
