You might want to consider picking up a new cassette if you're getting a new chain... Or, at least be prepared for some significant chain skipping on your most commonly used cogs. I learned that the hard way with my last chain replacement. Within 24 hours I had bought a new cassette, too.
I'm more of a "replace the cassette every other chain" type of guy. I have the new chain on, and there is no skipping. It was nice to ride to work again. I even left early, took the long way, and stopped at the coffee shop.
