That seems very light. I broke my old K2 (3 in front, 3.5 in back) and it was about 28 pounds. Very cheap frame, though. I bought a low end KHS and the lbs threw in a Manitou fork (130mm) and I think the thing is about 32-33 pounds. Fine for riding alone but a bit more challenging trying to keep up with skinny climbers on 24# XC machines.
