Just a FYI many of the hills on the West Side Hill ride are over 20% grade - but a lot of fun. There's more elevation in those 45-50 mile rides than all of the Livestrong Challenge by almost double.
You may want to do one of the Dam(n) Loops or similar rides for something that's more reasonable with respect to the steepness of the hills.

The Dam Loop is a great route, did it last year with Mellow Johnny's Sunday group ride. Stephanie said afterward that it's a good indication of being able to complete the LIVESTRONG 90-mile route. Obviously, she was right.
