I hit a pothole and my 41/2 year old EL-530 bounced off the bike and broke the mounting bracket molded to the battery housing. I called Cateye to see if a replacement housing could be purchased; they said send the thing back and they would send a warranty replacement for the entire light.

Can't beat that.
