I'm sorry to hear that, as little as that can help. That's a hell of a way to learn
a life lesson, though most of us end up learning something in that sort of a
brutal fashion at some point in our lives. I do hope she was just part of the
general confusion and not a direct cause, that'll still be bad enough.

At some point down the road, when things are settling, being supportive of
the decision to stick around and not bolt would be important to reinforce
I guess, as a small positive.
