Yes, I've let other people ride my bikes. Sometimes it is fun to swap bikes with a riding partner for a few miles, especially if your riding buddy has a new toy or gizmo that you want to check out.

It's not a big deal, the bicycle can be fixed or replaced if something happens to it. I'd be more concerned about my friend if he crashed or was hit than I would about my bicycle.
