Raising the age for driving isn't the solution. Up until 30 or 40 years ago you were grown at 16, even earlier in other cultures. Protecting children from themselves doesn't do any good. Teaching children to be responsible is a better solution. Teaching by example on how to be an adult is even better. Remember some kids don't have parents even at the age of 10, 12, 14. What is do be done with them if you raise the age for all the stuff that adults might do or need to do. Not everyone fits into a nice mold and there are differences in "age" even among the same age group.
