Also, you do not have to go with a bolt-on rear wheel. If you wish, you can replace it with a wheel that uses a QR. I'm sure your bike uses a freewheel and, assuming you don't have a freewheel puller, you'll need to have a shop pull it for you to put on the new wheel.

It might be cheaper to repair the existing wheel depending on what is wrong with it.
