LaGuardia (for domestic flights) is even worse. One time I was flying back from Nashville (business trip) and on that flight was a man who looked like it was his first time outside of rural Tennessee; he had an old fashioned suitcase, dressed in an old fashioned suit complete with a bowtie. He looked pretty uneasy so I chatted him up where he confirmed what I suspected: it was his first time on a plane and to NYC. I reassured him all will be well and I'd help him once we got off the plane. When we diembarked at LaGuardia he was greeted by absolute chaos (Friday afternoon arrival, worst timing EVER) and the look on his face was one of complete shock and awe.

We made our way to the baggage pick up and there was a lot of pushing and shoving to jockey for a good position by the conveyor belt. After getting our bags I walked him to where the taxi stand was (he still had the look of shock on his face) and he had to queue up with other passengers who were waiting. I left him there and not a second later one of the airport staff was yelling at him for holding up the line so I raced back because he looked very scared and let me tell you this woman was no joke. This is why I avoid LaGuardia as well.
