I'm not sure what else you should do to it the experts here will be quick to help you guaranteed.
But the $600 buck model you picked should all have good components. The new handlebars from easton would be stronger and lighter though I'm sure. Some new more comfortable grips maybe? I don't like the default grips cause they chafe my hands....I use cut off gloves and will probably get some full fingered cause of that.
