you can get away with this a few times... I did when I bought my snowmobile back in 02 ($8000 purchase) and my guitar back in 06 ($1200) and an RC car back in 99... you can certainly wear out this ability... if you haven't exercised it much you can get away with this... if you're a repeat offender (like me) it gets difficult to get that forgiveness... I've done it enough now that I HAVE to ask permission, I went over my allotment of get out of jail free cards...

ETA - I will try again one more time in about a year... but this time i'm going for a mid range carbon bike...
