Specialized also makes footbeds with different arch support for under or over pronation. From my personal experience, specialized shoes worked very well for me.

I use two different brands on the advice of my marathon-running uncle; he said to use two pairs of different brands to keep the feet from getting mashed into one position, then rotating in a new pair every six months. I'll have to find the shoes to get their model names, but I know that they both have a stiffer outsole compound under the inside of the heel.
