As bearings goes, live as a bicycle bearing is fairly relaxed. No high rpms, no high temperatures and quite moderate loads. As a consequence pretty much anything goes. There are a few fairly agreed don'ts, and a lively debate about what's "best". IRL you're good as long as you avoid the don'ts.
Some prefer outboard lubes for bearings for their improved water resistance, some use high-end lithium grease, some use generic bearing greases as bought in bulk for automotive/heavy engineering use. Other use boutique stuff that at least is labeled to be optimized for bike care. Whether there is a significacnt difference or not is an open question.
My personal conviction is that frequency of upkeep is more important than which precise products you use.
