I was told by my local REI store that NiteRider is introducing new models of bike headlights. The current models are on clearance and are being sold at a discount.

I am interested in the MiNewt 400. It is a pack of two lights, LED based, with a battery pack. If you own one of these, please let me know your experience. Is it bright enough, is it reliable, does it fall off the handle bar?

Since it consists of two lights, does it throw a uniform beam of light or is it like two beams of light with a dark space in between?

Is MiNewt 400 good enough or would you recommend waiting for the new models?
