I really messed up. I went out too late and i got held up by cars. On one spot, I spent ages on a long climb and the long descent on the other side was going well until a car decided to stop for no reason just to be nice to let another car come out. F me! I was so angry i yelled at the idiot. I had to slam the brakes on and lost all the momentum where I could have kept accelerating. You can look ahead and plan your speed for the normal expected traffic behaviour but this was so stupid. Then the lines at junctions was longer because weekend shoppers were out. I should have got out really early and not been caught by late morning shoppers. So stupid.

then a storm came in and i was hit by massive headwinds. It was the type of wind where i would come to a complete stop going downhill if i tried to coast. The final long stretches where I would normally go 19 mph i was pushing hard and only managing 15 mph.
