I snagged a Gavin Acele off Craigslist recently. This is a $600 internet bike, found at rwww.roadbikeoutlet.com. It's another Asian assembly shop product, which I got for just over $300 from a woman who rode it once.
It came with 105 rear derailleur, the front is Tiagra. Nice carbon fork, probably Kinesis. Tektro brakes, Ritchey and FSA for the balance of the components.
The cheap Velo seat needs replacing and pedals must be fitted. The rims are Alex 450's and the tires are Kenda Koncept, both entry level stuff.
But for $600, it rs robust enough and offers a better component set than many name brand kits.
