I ended up dropping down and doing the 100K due to time constraints. I thought the event lived up to the billing- beautiful scenery, well organized, unique & challenging course. I enjoyed the ride but will bring a different bike next year. I had 28 conti's, mountain bike cassette and derailleur (did 6 gap vermont the week before and kept the same setup). I found the washboard descents and roads a bit harsh and challenging, would have been more comfortable with a light mountain bike. It was nice to start at a reasonable time and get done without being exhausted though, may do the 100k again. That stop where they had lunch was beautiful, all in all a great ride!
