My Century today

This was my century today and it was fun. Took the day off from work and good day little warm at the end but most flat, few rolling hill nothing that required be to go the small ring on my compact. The old runner still runs but this is much better than pushing 20 milers I use to do when I was doing marathons. Will be good to go back to running for a few days.

In any case I was really pleased I passed the 100 mile mark on the bike computer in 5:18 my 3rd century ever ( all this year) and my fastest. I went through 4 bottles and one can of diet coke. I stop for only 10 minutes total and eat 15 fig newtons and was pretty thirsty at the end but I was 8 miles from home so I just keeped going knowing I was ok. So here it is, and I feel really pretty good
