And please don't recommend my LBS - they are crap and wouldn't know customer service if it bit them.
I should be able to depend on the helmet maker to figure these things out before I purchase. I shouldn't have to spend a small fortune to get a helmet that is sonically quiet - that should be built into the design of all helmets as part of the requisites.
Do you have friends who bike? Try test-riding their helmets.
