Bike security and bike locks
Hi Folks: Have a question about what you do for bike security and what you do for locks. As a (mostly) roadie I never take a hunk of metal chain or a lock with me and --of course--never let the bike out of my sight at coffee shops or country stores....but now that I am branching out into some light touring my guess is that security won't be quite that simple. There are campgrounds and stores you need to visit and leave the bike behind. Chains and U-locks strike me as heavy and maybe nonsensical? What are you doing and maybe I missed a thread?
