I commute daily with Ortlieb Back Roller Classics with one transporting a 15.4" laptop in a neoprene padded sleeve. Three times in the last six months, the laptop would not boot due to HDD failure. In each case, the fix was to unseat/reseat the drive. I now recommend some extra padding on the bottom of the bag to further cushion the laptop from road bumps.
