The other great thing about McMenamins is the venue. They like to take historic buildings and renovate them as well as turning them into a brewpub. The Olympic Hotel and Theatre is one example. They even offer a hotel/movie package that includes not only a night's stay but also dinner and drinks served in the theatre while you're watching first-run movies. Or how about a UFO watching party? Or how would you like to sit around and lift a few pints at what was originally an elementary school? Mmmm... classy drinking.
