Most of the roads near here are in decent to good shape. But there's a 1.5 mile connector road which, for reasons I never understood, they allowed to get really bad in a few sections. We're talking patches on top of patches. And the road gets quite a bit of traffic in the day.
Anyway, they recently repaved it. Well, the two ends of it. Again, for reasons I do not get, they didn't repave the middle part. But the ends are sweet. It feels like I go 2 mph faster now just because of the smooth road.
