Monument Man good to hear you've resolved what sounded like an ugly situation. Too bad about your accident, so far I've had no accidents just plenty of equipment issues.

In fact, on the way home tonight I broke my second spoke in a little over 2 weeks. So tonight it was back to the LBS. The plan is to rebuild my old wheel with a stronger double walled rim and I've ordered a cyclocross wheel that the LBS owner feels will be pretty bombproof. So in the end I will have a strong wheel and a pretty good backup wheel.

Evidently, the past week or two has brought in lots of bigger guys with broken wheels or searching for bikes and wheel sets that will fit their size. I'm thinking we are an under served market.

With any luck I will be riding again on Monday on a rebuilt wheel but will have to wait a while for my bombproof wheel. If it weren't for my rear wheel problems I love my bike. I'm hoping that better wheels will have me rolling along without issues for many months to come.
