I 6'2", weight 160 lbs and am looking for some rims under $250 or so. I want to dump my Shimano WH-550's(or 500's) because they are slightly bent and have been crappy rims.
I don't ride competitively but may in the future. I ride quite a bit and i would rather have a rim that lasts than weighs less.
1. Pretty interested in the Easton EA50's. They are on sale at performance for $250 and i could get them lower with coupons/team points i believe. They look
really good and seem to be pretty light.
2. Mavic Open Pros/ultegra. Seem to weigh quite a bit, also might be over my budget.
3. Mavic mavic aksium. Right in my budget.
4. Neuvation M28xsl. Don't know much about these.
5. Various Vuelta Wheels. They are really cheap!
Any thoughts on what would be the best option?
Thanks a bunch!
