The other one I'd suggest is a 250mm Control Tech I-Post, which is available on ebay- has similar setback to the easton and weighs about 165g as is. I have one on my commuter bike- it's been a reliable, solid post for years-- if you go thomson, I can find the website for the carbon cradle- I don't think it's that expensive either.

If you go w/out setback, there are a bunch of other seatposts I'd suggest that are lighter, many cheaper and the reliability on them has been excellent.
