Thanks for the tip. I guess there are sensible considerations to make, but perhaps the moral of the story is: a bike can be made to work. Especially for $250, even with another $100 for tune-up and accessories, and the drive from Cincinnati to Louisville to get it, it's definitely in the middle of the money I think I'd like to spend for now.
